Iniesta: Suarez is dying to get going at Barca

Andrés Iniesta has said that big-money signing Luis Suarez is eager to get his Barcelona career up and running following his transfer from Liverpool.

The Uruguayan striker will find out later this week if his appeal against his four-month ban for biting an opponent has been successful after he gave a statement to the Court of Arbitration for Sport last week.

Suarez's legal team are hopeful that the CAS will half the ban to two months, meaning the former Liverpool striker would be available to play from August 25, and for him to be allowed to train with Barcelona while he is suspended.

Spanish star Iniesta has revealed that Suarez is eagerly awaiting getting his Barcelona career started following the controversial transfer.

"I've spoken with Luis Suarez and he's dying to get going," Iniesta told Marca.

With an attacking trio of Neymar, Messi and Suarez, the midfielder is hoping for big things from the Barca attack.

"We hope that Neymar can continue to improve this season. As regards Leo, there are no doubts about his determination and ambition, they couldn't be any higher," he added.
