Qazvin plans robotic zoo

Tehran, Aug 10, IRNA -- Iran's first robotic zoo will be established in Barajin National Park in Qazvin in the near future, the city's mayor said.

Monday edition of the English language newspaper Iran Daily writes that Masoud Nosrati added that about $1.3 million have been spent on the zoo’s construction.

"It occupies a space of 2,000 square meters," he said.

He further said the first coastal park will be built on an area of 27 hectares on the banks of Barajin River.

Last year, Nosrati announced that visitors can find out how elephant, giraffe, peacock, dinosaur, shark and spider function in the zoo.

The robotic zoo provides fantastic new insights and hands-on fun for discovering just how real animals work.
