Kushal props up Indian Gymkhana in VCA Dorairajan Trophy

NAGPUR: Kushal Kakad struck a brilliant 83 to help Indian Gymkhana post a decent total of 229 on the board against Navniketan Club in the third-place play-off match of the fifth edition of MN Dorairajan trophy cricket tournament at the VCA Civil Lines ground here on Saturday.
Kakad’s 83 included 14 hits to the fence. The other notable contribution came from the blade of Abhishek Chourasia (46: 4x7).Left-arm spinner Aditya Sarwate and Suniket Bingewar scalped three wickets each, while Akshay Karnewar bagged a couple.
At close on Day 1, Navniketan were 25 for the loss of one wicket.
