Hansika played a journo

Hansika was seen playing a journalist in Karthi-starrer Biriyani. The actress essayed the character of Priyanka, a television reporter in Venkat Prabhu's directorial. Hansika was extremely careful about her role and have also done a fair bit of research for it.
Speaking on playing a journalist, Hansika said, "I have great respect for the profession (journalism) and I always knew playing a reporter was a tough job.After stepping into their shoes, albeit through a role, my respect for journalists has increased."
