Varanasi, Aug 10 (ANI): A supporter of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Virbhadra Nishad complained of non-payment of pension to old people in Uttar Pradesh. The government of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in Uttar Pradesh has stopped provision of pension to the old people after BJP won in the state. Virbhadra Nishad, a boatman, was one of the people who proposed Modi's nomination from temple town Varanasi for the general elections. He was also a constant supporter of the nationalist leader during the elections. However, Nishad complained that the state government of Samajwadi Party has ceased to pay due amount of pension despite him suffering from critical health conditions. Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson in Uttar Pradesh, Ashok Pandey, said his party will definitely provide the required help to Nishad.
