KISHTWAR, Aug 9: Forest Protection Force (FPF) seized 40 kilograms of medicinal herb ‘nagchattri’ at Chergi Pul here.
Acting on a tip, Forest Protection Force (FPF) personal under the supervision of Deputy Director Khalid Amin Mehta laid a naka at Chergi Pul and intercepted few persons who were carrying bags.
On seeing FPF sleuth, the persons left the bags on the spot and fled away taking the advantage of darkness.
During checking, medicinal herb ‘nagchattri’ weighing 40 kilograms was seized from the bags.
A case has been registered and investigation started.
