LUDHIANA: Two eunuchs were injured, one of them critically, after they were allegedly attacked by their gurus at Saleem Tabri area. Giving details, Pali Mann, whose employees Manisha, 17, and Raveena, 20, were injured, said that around 7am on Friday, her gurus Sonia and Bhutti of Tandhari came to her home at Edo Muhalla in Saleem Tabri area and attacked her employees and also damaged her belongings including a refrigerator.
Pali said that her gurus were forcing her to collect more money everyday by begging but since she did not respond to those "unrealistic needs", they attacked her employees.
"I was away when Sonia and Bhutti attacked my employees and damaged my household articles and also stole Rs 30,000 cash from my residence. They beat up Manisha and Raveena, and Manisha has suffered serious injuries on her head and is in a subconscious state at the civil hospital", said Pali. "I have lodged complaint with Saleem Tabri and hope that police will act promptly". In the meanwhile, those injured are reportedly stable at the hospital. Police said they are yet to receive a complaint. SHO Kewal Krishan of Saleem Tabri said: "We will initiate an action once a complaint is received."
