With Salman Khan’s ‘Kick’ doing exceptionally well with its box office collections, Aanand L Rai’s desire to sign the superstar acquires greater urgency – however, what the signing amount will be is enveloped in secrecy.
Director Aanand L Rai is currently busy wrapping up the pre-production work of the sequel to Tanu Weds Manu, but he is keeping an eye on his next project, for which he is eager to sign Salman Khan.
The love story revolves around the lead protagonist, who is apparently a dwarf and Rai confessed that he is ready to wait for Salman Khan?s dates, but will only work with him.
?Since he was busy with Kick, I preferred to postpone our meeting. I will wait for Salman Khan to give the nod and his dates for the film, because I think he will perfectly suit the requirements of our film. I know he has quite a few projects on hand, so we might start our film by late 2015, but I will only cast him,? stated Rai, who will be meeting Salman Khan in the second week of August to discuss the film.
When asked about the reports of him being in talks with Ranbir Kapoor for the same role, Rai denied it and preferred not to comment.
