Johannesburg - A man was injured during a shooting in Brackenhurst near Alberton on Thursday, paramedics said.
Netcare 911 spokeswoman Santi Steinmann said paramedics attended to the man when they arrived on the scene at Swartkoppies Road.
The man was then taken to hospital for further treatment.
Details of the shooting were a subject of a police investigation.
Police could not be reached for comment.
