Mrs. Rashmi Hemant Urdhwareshe has been appointed Director of the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI).
After during B.E. (Electrical) from the Vishweshwaraya Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur, in 1981, and M.E. (Electronics & Telecom) from the Government College of Engineering, Pune, Mrs. Urdhwareshe started her career as Trainee Engineer at ARAI in 1983. During the span of over three decades, she has been a driving force and a significant contributor to the growth and success of ARAI.
Mrs. Urdhwareshe has handled various senior technical and management responsibilities to cover the entire gamut of automotive electronics, instrumentation & controls, Quality management, homologation & standardization, international harmonization of automotive regulations, vehicle type approval certification, export homologation, laboratory accreditation, etc.
