Bajwa in Talwandi Sabo with team

Finally PPCC president Partap Singh Bajwa landed in Talwandi Sabo to support party candidate Harminder Jassi and he will be camping in the constituency till the campaign ends. Bajwa, who opened party office of Jassi in the town, said that his team of MLAs and ex-MLAs will also be staying here and they have been earmarked their areas as well. Bajwa asked the leaders to concentrate on their areas only, rather than “going here or there”.

A total of 69 villages are in this constituency and as per Bajwa the number of villages per MLA, ex MLA or other leaders will not be more than three or four. Though Bajwa claimed that former chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh will also come to campaign for Jassi, so far Amarinder himself has not confirmed this. It seems that Amarinder and Bajwa camps will be campaigning separately in Patiala and Talwandi Sabo respectively. Meanwhile, Bajwa, along with Jassi and PPP president Manpreet Singh Badal, visited villages — Nangla, Natheya, Lahiri, Mirjeana, Jaga etc. Bajwa said: “I will be on village tours on daily basis and I will see how back stabber Jeet Mohinder Singh Sidhu gets votes from this area. He is the one who has added so much of expenses and for his vested interests he is contesting this poll rather than to serve the masses.”

With Bajwa camping in Talwandi Sabo, Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal have also made their tour plans in this constituency and the rallies will start from tomorrow. Bajwa called AAP as a soap bubble which has no agenda and thus stated that will not affect the Congress vote bank at all.
