At least four foreign soldiers were reportedly killed when an Afghan soldier fired on them in a military center in Kabul on Tuesday, a source said.

"An Afghan soldier guarding at the National Defense University opened fire after an argument with foreigners, leaving several Afghan and foreign military officers killed and injured," a source told Xinhua. (Afghanistan-Killing-Military Center)

ISLAMABAD -- At least 16 people were killed and 10 others injured when a passenger van fell into a ravine in Pakistani- controlled Kashmir on Tuesday afternoon, local media reported.

Dawn News reported that the ill-fated van was carrying over 30 passengers when it plunged into the ravine in Rawalakot area, a main district in the region.(Pakistan-Accident-Toll)

PHNOM PENH -- Floods have hit seven Cambodian provinces along the Mekong River and Tonle Sap Lake and claimed eight lives since last week, a senior disaster control official said Tuesday.

KABUL -- Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Tuesday strongly condemned a shooting attack against visiting Afghan and foreign trainers in Afghan National Military Academy in Kabul earlier in the day.

At around Tuesday afternoon, a man wearing an Afghan army uniform opened fire on a group of military visitors in the facility, located in Qargha area in western Kabul, killing one U.S. military officer and wounding 15 others, including a German brigadier general, according to local media reports.
