Taslima Nasreen declines Bigg Boss

Taslima Nasreen, who is known for her writings on women's oppression and unflinching criticism of religion, was offered the upcoming season of Bigg Boss. Her participation on the show would have invited a lot of debate in the outside world.

However, the Bangladeshi writer has turned down the offer. Says a source from the show, "She was offered Rs 3 crore a week.In India, Bangladesh and abroad, Nasreen’s fiction, non-fiction, poetry and memoirs have topped the bestseller’s list. She has multiple fatwas issued on her, but she didn't find the offer interesting."
