The Raahgiri-trotters join Raahgiri day
While many regulars were spotted cycling, skating and dancing at the Raahgiri arena in Palam Vihar, there were a few first-timers as well.
And they promised to come back for more. “This is my third time at Raahgiri Day in Palam Vihar, as I also keep going to the one in Sushant Lok on alternate weekends. Even though the concept at both places is the same, the execution is a little different.
I love going to both places,” said Avinash Dudeja, 37, who stays in Sector 17. Tamanna Srivastava, 21, a fashion student who stays in Sector 21, added, “I had heard a lot about Raahgiri Day from my friends and read about it on Facebook. I’m so glad I could finally make it. It’s surprising that people actually wake up early on a Sunday to be here. This is fantastic!” “This is the best thing about staying in Gurgaon. I’m a regular Raahgir and I love it. I’ve heard the one in Delhi is also really good, so I’m planning to go there soon. Dekhna toh padega ki Dilliwalon ne kaise copy kiya hai,” laughed Rohit Saraf, 40, an entrepreneur who stays in Sector 23.
