Jaratoli in Ranchi to become 'model village'
RANCHI: Jaratoli village, a tribal village situated in Namkum, around 12 km from Ranchi, which has around 200 families, will soon be turned into a model village, said Rajya Sabha MP Parimal Nathwani who promised to work towards the all round development of the village.
Nathwani said, "The development of the village will include everything, from construction of connecting roads to city to providing agricultural resources and building a cultural structure.
The villagers will be given all the basic facilities needed for a model village."
The development of the village will be done in two phases, basic facilities and beautification. The first phase will include construction of road connecting village to main road and roads inside the village, deep boring and overhead tank for the purpose of agriculture and drinking water.
In the second phase a community hall and skill development complex will be developed to promote cultural activities. The plan also includes construction of a health care centre and development of the school by providing better resources.
Nathwani said, "There are many places around Jaratoli having scenic beauty like Horhop, Chundri falls and others and development of the village will also help in promoting tourism in the area."
