Muzaffarnagar: A 35-year-old man was allegedly murdered by unidentified men when he was going to his fields in the district, police said on Monday.
Vikul Kumar was on his way to his fields at Miranpur Khurd under Khatoli Police Station here yesterday when he was shot dead by unidentified persons, SHO Gajender Singh said.
The reason behind the murder is not known yet, he said, adding, the body has been sent for post-mortem.
The police has registered a case against unidentified persons and investigation into the case is on.
