Malcolm Williamson was one of the most successful composers Australia has ever produced, though these days his music is in need of revival. Leading the way is pianist Piers Lane with his Hyperion label CD of the piano concertos of Williamson. Piers Lane is also the Artistic Director of the 2014 Australian Festival of Chamber Music in Townsville July 31- August 9
