PALANPUR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's wife Jashodaben visited Manibhadra Veer's temple at Magrawada in Vadagam taluka on Friday and prayed for his long and successful life dedicated to serving the nation.
After offering the prayers she said, "In the past, I used to come here on every Pancham (fifth day of Hindu calendar) when I was a teacher in a nearby village.
Later, I could not keep the routine want of conveyance and the long distance from Unjha. From today onwards I would regularly visit the place on Pancham. I know the great Veer-dada never disappoints a person who visits his abode on pancham."
Her brother Ashok Modi, who was accompanying her said, "Though my sister has been provided security, we would request the government to at least to provide conveyance facility for her to visit religious places from Unjha."
Magarwada is an important religiousplace visited by people from across the state.
