Adhyaksha shares no similarity with its original?

Despite being a remake, the makers of Adhyaksha changed almost half the scenes
Adhyaksha shares no similarity with its original?
Remakes are rarely done for the quality of the original, but for their box-office success. That's why a film like Mayamohini, which got poor reviews in Malayalam, got remade in Kannada as Jai Lalitha. Now, Sharan, who acted in that film, will be seen in another remake. Director Nanda Kishore says he chose to remake Varuthapa datha Valibar Sangam not because the film was a hit, but “the story had great potential for a retelling“.

“We have changed around 25 scenes in the film. They are either completely new scenes, altered or suitably changed. I would not say we were trying to change it to our nativity. We were adopting a good story and not trying to imitate its box-office success,“ says Nanda Kishore. This is the second film for Nanda Kishore as a director.
Sharan, whose first film with Nanda Kishore, Victory, an original, was a big hit last year, says, “As much effort has gone into Adhyaksha as would on an original script. It has not been copied. It has been completely re-created with several changes to the making as well as content. There is no rule that a remake will succeed. We had to grasp the subtle details of why people liked it in one region.
The director and the entire team have managed to do that and adapt necessary changes. The dialogue writer, for example, had to not just rewrite dialogues but match it to the expectations that my previous four films as a lead actor have created. I do not consider this film a remake. You too will feel that after watching it."
SPECIAL SONG WITH THREE GUESTS
Three lead actors, Prem, Srinagar Kitty and Murali are playing guest roles in the film. Sources say they will be seen in a special song.
But this song will not be released on television and those who want to see these actors dance with Sharan will have to go to theatres, says a source close to the crew.
