Parineeti Chopra, Alia Bhatt glam up award ceremony in Mumbai
The first edition of the International Indian Achiever’s Awards 2014 (IIAA) honoured Indian achievers from across industries globally.
The first edition of the International Indian Achiever’s Awards 2014 (IIAA) honoured Indian achievers from across industries globally.
Organised by Poetic Justice Events and Entertainment Pvt Ltd, an event management and production company spearheaded by Poonam Dhillon and Aneel Murarka, the event saw Alia Bhatt and Parineeti Chopra in attendance. Said Dhillon, “We have set up a board of experts as jury to select the winners. We hope it raises the bar to recognise Indian talent worldwide from various fields.”
Added Murarka, “IIAA is an ode to Indians who’ve done our country proud on foreign soils. We have worked hard to put everything together and have received immense support from our friends in the industry.” Those awarded during the event include Hard Kaur (Films, Entertainment and Media), Vatsala Mathew (Academics), Sanjeev Sanyal (Literature), Yogesh Mehta (Business and Finance), Dr Subra Suresh (Science and IT), Dr Jeevanandam Valluvam (Medicine), Jacqueline Lundquist (Friend of India) and ArishayaMutha (Young Achiever).
