The Shiv Sena has invited netizens' ire by holding a rally in Thrissur, asking to ban actor Asif Ali's films.
Ban the films of Asif Ali, whose fans beat up girl students for giving an opinion on a film, said their banner. A picture of the rally caught the attention of netizens who have been criticising the Shiv Sena for communalising the incident. The incident in question occured a few days back, where a girl wrote a scathing comment on Asif Ali with regard to his latest film, Hi I'm Tony.
Asif Ali's fans tracked down the girl, used very bad language and threatened her and and her friends in person, following which the girl complained to the police.
