Six women injured in Pishin acid attack

PISHIN - Six women were injured in an acid attack in Tang area of Pishin district over a family dispute the other day.
Talking to media persons, Pishin Deputy Commissioner Bashir Bazai said six women sustained burn injuries when four men sprayed acid on them inside a house over a family dispute.
He said the faces of the women remained safe, but their feet were injured in the attack. “There were no men inside the house when the culprits targeted the women,” Bazai said.
The attackers escaped unhurt after committing the offence. The injured were shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.
The DC said the women were discharged from the hospital after being given first aid treatment since their condition was not serious. Levies personnel conducted raids in different parts of Pishin and Killa Abdullah, but no arrest was made till the filing of this report.
