Alia, Arjun most searched on Google

While actors Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif topped the year long Google search engine analysis of 2013, the analysis in the first half of 2014 has revealed that young faces are also racing ahead. Several industry kids including the likes of Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Tiger Shroff are leading searches in the web, images and news categories on Google searches. Although filmy background gives them an edge, the other non-filmy newbies on screen including Sidhartha Malhotra and Ileana D’Cruz have also been successful in generating good amount of curiosity among their fans and subsequently on the search engine. But it is Alia and Arjun who have emerged as the most searched stars from the new lot, followed closely by Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor at the second spot. While the buzz around 2 States and it’s consequent success helped escalate Alia and Arjun’s popularity online, Ek Villain’s success was responsible for Sidharth and Shraddha’s ever growing fanbase.
