Jaipurites enjoyed the Rajasthan’s famous Teej procession from Tripoliya gate to Pondrik Garden in Jaipur

Rajasthan’s famous Teej procession was witnessed by Jaipur on Wednesday evening, and the Walled City was awash with folk dancers, bands, artistes, cannon carriages and chariots with the sawari of Goddess Teej, decked up in traditional fineries.

Rajasthan’s famous Teej procession was witnessed by Jaipur on Wednesday evening, and the Walled City was awash with folk dancers, bands, artistes, cannon carriages and chariots with the sawari of Goddess Teej, decked up in traditional fineries.
The procession, which started from Tripoliya gate, was organised by the state department of tourism, district administration, and the Municipal Corporation, in association with City Palace.
Making its way through Chhoti Chaupar and Gangauri Bazaar, the royal procession concluded at Pondrik Garden near Chaugan Stadium.
A fair was also organized for tourists and Jaipurites at the Pondrik Garden of Talkatora.
