Sports editor charged with possessing child sex images
Frank Coppola is sports editor of Portsmouth Herald
The sports editor of a New Hampshire newspaper has been charged with possessing images that show child sexual abuse.    Frank Coppola, sports editor of the Portsmouth Herald, was arrested at his Nottingham home.    Police Sgt. Ross Oberlin said Wednesday that Coppola is being held on $100,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Sept. 3 in circuit court in Candia.    Police acted with assistance from the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.    It wasn't immediately known if Coppola has a lawyer. A phone number listed for a Frank Coppola in the area was not working.    John Tabor, president and publisher of Seacoast Media Group, which owns the Herald, said the company takes the charges seriously but wouldn't comment further because it is a personnel matter.
