M.Sc in Nursing admissions 2014 begin in Christian medical college, Ludhiana

Applications are invited for admission to M.Sc in nursing at Christian Medical College (CMC), Ludhiana. The programme is offered in areas such as mental health nursing, medical surgical nursing, community health nursing, obstetric and gynaecological nursing as well as child health nursing, commencing from 2014.

Eligibilty criteria:

A B.Sc in nursing degree in relevant discipline from any recognised university is a must for candidates with minimum one-year work experience in bedside nursing/public health nursing/teaching after declaration of final results of the same before August 26, 2014.

Selection process:

The selection of the candidates would be based on an admission written test which would include objective-type and multiple-choice questions based on B.Sc. nursing syllabus prescribed by the Nursing Council of India for maximum of 180 marks. Those obtaining at least 35 per cent marks in the test would be eligible for the admission, which will be as per the merit in the final result.

They should submit the duly-filled application form along with relevant enclosures and application fee of Rs 3500 as demand draft drawn in favour of Christian Medical College, Ludhiana. The application fee once paid is not refundable.

Last date for the submission of application form is August 11 with the written test to be held on Aug 13.
