I feel privileged to get such good scripts in M’wood: Isha Sharvani
Isha Sharvani is on cloud nine. The actress, who had never planned to turn to acting again, now has her hands full.
As soon as she finished shoot for Amal Neerad’s Iyobinte Pustakam, she was signed up for Lijo Jose Pelliserry’s Double Barrel. However, very little has been let out about the film, except that it has an ensemble cast comprising most of the young stars.
“Yes, the film has an ensemble cast —Prithviraj, Indrajith, Asif Ali, Fahadh, Sunny Wayne and Parvathi Menon are all part of it. All I am allowed to say is that it is a stylised comedy, and will probably be the first of its kind in Malayalam. The visual treatment is also different. I am really excited to do this character,” she says.
Now that she is on her third film in Malayalam, would she like to try dubbing for herself? “I can speak conversational Malayalam but not the literary one. But for Double Barrel, I would definitely like to try,” she says.
And regarding her innings in the Malayalam film industry, she is delighted at the turn of events, she says. “Life has a way of throwing unexpected surprises at you, and it is one such to get back-to-back films like these. I feel privileged to get such good scripts.”
