DreamWorks Animation (DWA) Sank To A New Low After Wider Than Expected Q2 Loss

DreamWorks Animation (DWA) reported a second quarter loss of $0.18 per share after the close Tuesday, compared to the profit of $0.26 per share last year. The consensus estimate was for a loss of $0.02 per share.

DreamWorks Animation gapped down sharply Wednesday morning, but was range-bound throughout the session. Shares finished with a loss of 2.68 at $19.98 on the highest volume of the year. The stock sank below a 1-month range and set a new low for the year.
