Mumbai, Ahmedabad train services back to normal
SURAT: Except for a couple of delays, the train services between Mumbai and Ahmedabad along with those to other destinations via Valsad were restored on Wednesday.
Few trains going towards Mumbai like Gujarat Express and Saurashtra Express were late by two hours and trains from Mumbai including Karnavati Express and Mumbai-Ahmedabad double-decker were late by four to five hours.

Official sources said that the water has almost receded from the tracks at Valsad railway station with the rains taking a breather from late Tuesday night.
Area Railway Officer (ARO) SK Yadav said, "Except for a few trains, most of the trains were on time. The water logging situation at Valsad railway station is clear for now. We are hoping things to get normal from Thursday."
