Peru’s export and tourism promotion board (Promperu) will attend the upcoming 2014 Virtuoso Travel Week in Las Vegas, Nevada with the aim to promote the Andean country as a luxury tourist destination.

Virtuoso Travel Week, which will bring together the world's leading luxury travel providers and travel agencies, will be held from August 9-14, according to PromPeru's General Secretariat.

The event, to be held at the Bellagio Hotel & Resort, will include meetings and direct negotiations with luxury travel agents, during which updated information will be provided to boost Peruvian destinations in high-income segments.

Likewise, PromPeru's participation in the week-long event aims to explore the new travel trends and styles and update thousands of Virtuoso travel agencies on the wide variety Peru has to offer.

To this end, Promperu’s officials Martha Elizabeth Quezada and Cecilia Milagros Berrocal will be heading to Las Vegas to carry out tourism promotion activities in this event.
