Youth stabs girl in classroom

NIZAMABAD: A youth stabbed a girl in a classroom at RK degree college in the presence of the lecturer and later attempted suicide on Wednesday.
The girl, Sneha, a native of Lingampet mandal in Nizamabad district was suddenly attacked by another student identified as Sai Kiran Reddy, a resident of Vadi village in Medak district. Reddy came to the college with a knife and attacked the girl.The incident left students in a state of shock. Sources said although Sneha and Reddy were friends, of late, Sneha began avoiding him.
The condition of Sneha, who received injuries on her hand and leg is stable. Reddy, who inflicted himself with knife injuries is battling for life.
Reddy was shifted to Hyderabad for better treatment as his condition deteriorated due to heavy bleeding.
