Ramya opts out of Puneeth Rajkumar’s Doddamane Huduga?

Ramya, who will be seen for the first time with Shivarajkumar in the upcoming Sandalwood film Aryan, had said that she was considering signing on the dotted line for his younger brother, Puneeth Rajkumar’s upcoming film Doddamane Huduga. The young actress-turned-politician had slammed rumours of her agreeing to do several projects and said that the only movie that she is thinking about being a part of is Doddamane Huduga, but as all was going fine, sources have indicated that the actress might not star in the movie after all.
The movie is based on journalist Jogi’s novel of the same name. While Rebel Star Ambareesh is slated to play the role of Puneeth’s father in the movie, Ramya was almost sure to play the female lead. She had even confirmed to Bangalore Times that she was thinking about starring in the movie, but insiders have revealed that for reasons yet unknown, Ramya will not sign on to do the movie. Only time will tell if this piece on inside information is proved to be true or not.
