It is a celebration time for Jayaram and Asif Ali fans as the actors will share the screen space soon for their upcoming flick titled "Mylanchi Monjulla Veedu" ("MMV"). The film is directed by debutant Benny Joseph and scripted by hit makers Uday Krishna and Siby K Thomas.

Jayaram and Asif have earlier appeared in Sathyan Athikkad's "Kadha Thudarunnu" (2010) but did not share screen space in the film. The film was inspired by an American biographical drama film "The Pursuit of Happiness" and had Mamta Mohandas, Mamukkoya, K.P.A.C Lalitha and Innocent in the lead roles. For Asif, it was a turning point in his career.

Jayaram is currently busy with the shooting of Siby Malayil's "Njangalude Veetile Adhithikal," which also has Priyamani, Lena and Innocent in the lead roles. Jayaram-Siby's last film together was "Alice in Wonderland" in 2005. The actor is expected to join the team of "MMV" soon after the Siby Malayil directorial.

Though not much information is revealed regarding "MMV," it is said to be a comedy drama film about a Muslim family based in Malabar. The lead heroine is not yet fixed, but there are rumours that actress Bhavana is approached for the same.

The film has lots of expectations as the script is done by Uday and Siby. The popular duo has written script for more than 30 films and is famous for bringing out slapstick comedies. Some of their popular films include "Hitler Brothers", "Udayapuram Sulthan", "Darling Darling", "Dhosth", "CID Moosa", "Pulival Kalyanam", "Runway", "Kochi Raajavu", "Thuruppu Gulan", "Twenty-20", "Pokkiriraja", "Mayamohini", "Kammath & Kammath" and "Sringara Velan."

"MMV" is produced by Haneef Mohammed under the banner of "Red Rose Creations." Haneef has recently produced the Mammootty starrer "Manglish" directed by Salam Bappu.
