Speaking out against crime

Yours Truly Theatre Repertory presents ‘WAVE — Women Against Violent Experiences (Public Spaces)’, a forum theatre performance in the wake of the recent incidents in Bangalore.

The troupe has interviewed around 50 women and chosen three real-life stories which will be presented to the audience.

Each of the stories will be presented to the audience and at a crucial point, there will be a discussion facilitated with the audience on what is the best way to deal with the situation.

Once all the suggestions are taken, the performance will continue and the audience is invited to come up on stage one by one and replace either the victim or bystander and resolve the situation.

The event will be held on August 1, 8 and 14 at 8 pm. The venue is Yours Truly ALMA, No 1, 1st floor, 17th E cross, CMH Road. Tickets are priced at Rs 250.
