InfoWatch Looks Forward To Implementing 20 Projects In Malaysia

By Siti Radziah Hamzah KUALA LUMPUR, July 30 (Bernama) -- Russia-based global data loss prevention vendor, InfoWatch, is looking forward to implementing at least 20 projects in Malaysia in 2014 and 2015. InfoWatch International Sales Director Vadim Kuznetsov said the company was currently engaging more Malaysian partners, as well as training them to integrating its solutions into the customer business processes. "We have been in Malaysia since the end of 2013 and currently are actively developing our business through the partners’ expansion," he told Bernama. InfoWatch has at present two partners in Malaysia. The company has been implementing pilot projects with the Malaysian companies since the beginning of this year. "In Malaysia, InfoWatch is working with our partners on five large, national level pilot projects in the public, healthcare, customer relationship management and transportation sectors," said Kuznetsov. He said Malaysia is an important market for InfoWatch as local companies are focusing more on data protection due to implementation of the Personal Data Protection Regulations 2013. "Malaysia is very advanced in technology, as compared to other countries in the region. The country also has high digitalisation in government and documentation," he added. InfoWatch provides data loss prevention solutions for the internal protection of companies to prevent the leak of information and has more than 50 per cent of the Russian and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) markets in the corporate information security sector. It also works in Western Europe, Asia and the Middle East. --BERNAMA
