AC buses to Khandwa, Alirajpur likely from August first week

INDORE: Buoyed by the success of nonstop air-conditioned buses on Indore-Bhopal route, Atal Indore City transport services ltd (AICTSL) has now planned to run such buses on Indore-Khandwa and Indore-Alirajpur routes as well.
"We are planning to run more air-conditioned buses in the state, including on Khandwa, Burhanpur, Jabalpur, Alirajpur , Barwani and Harda routes.Buses are ready for Khandwa and Alirajpur routes and they will start plying from first week of August," said AICTSL CEO Sandeep Soni.
"We have also decided to run nonstop air-conditioned buses to Mumbai, Nagpur, Jaipur and Udaipur for which tenders will open on August 10. Total 20 operators and companies, including Mercedes Benz and Volvo have showed interest," he added.
A pre-bid meeting was held in this connection on Monday where representatives of different companies were present.
