Arrow” and its spinoff “The Flash” have added new faces to their upcoming seasons.

“Arrow” has announced the casting of J.R. Ramirez (“Emily Owens”), who will play Wildcat on the show’s upcoming third season.

On the series, the character is described to be a former boxer with a mysterious past who now runs a gym for underprivileged youths. He will play a pivotal role in Laurel Lance’s (Katie Cassidy) story arc.

“The Flash” has added Kelly Frye to its cast as Bette Sans Souci, alter ego of Plastique.  Frye is set to debut the role on the show’s fifth episode.

After being exposed to energy released by the S.T.A.A.R. Labs meltdown, Bette gains the ability to turn any object she touches into an explosive device.  On the run from forces in the U.S. government trying to turn her into a human weapon, she finds an ally in the Flash.

Frye has previously appeared on Fox’s “Rake,” as well as “NCIS: Los Angeles” and ‘The Mentalist.”

The “Arrow” spin-off stars Grant Gustin as the titular hero-slash-Barry Allen, with Wentworth Miller set to appear as Leonard Snart, aka Captain Cold, and Robbie Amell as Ronnie Raymond, the hero Firestorm.

“The Flash” premieres October 7 on the CW, while the third season of “Arrow” will bow on October 8.
