Padmini Kolhapure, who made her television debut two months ago, with Jay and Kinnari Mehtaa’s Ekk Nayi Pehchaan, will soon wrap up her track.

The actress plays the other woman in ShardaModi’s (played by PoonamDhillon) life. According to sources, “The bigamy track failed to impress the audience and hence, it’s winding up.”

However, Kinnari refutes the buzz, saying, “The track isn’t being winded up, it’s ending naturally.The story about the other woman can’t be dragged beyond a point. Padmini is one of our best artistes and is a great example of professionalism to youngsters.”
But what about the show’s abysmal ratings? “You can’t blame an artiste for that,” says the producer. Despite repeated attempts, we couldn’t reach the actress.
