More than anyone, I know how much Meenakshi loves her father: Manju Warrier
The news about Manju Warrier and Dileep filing for a joint divorce petition has generated a lot of rumours and speculations, especially in the online forums. Though Dileep had opened about their personnel life in an interview with a regional magazine, Manju had always remained silent about her family affairs. But finally, the actress has come out in the open by posting a three-page heart rendering handwritten note on her social networking page.

In the letter, Manju has written about the rumours about her personnel life, about her daughter and more. Manju emphasis in the letter that they (Manju and Dileep) have filed the application for separation by mutual consent and no one has influenced their decision in any way. She has also requested the public to respect their privacy.
“I have a few good friends in my life, who have always stood by me through thick and thin, and they are Geethu, Samyuktha, Bhavana, Poornima and Shwetha Menon. But now, there are rumours that they are the reason behind all my personal problems. Such fake news hurts them, and it hurts me a lot more. In fact, it is taking a toll on their personal and professional lives. So, let me clarify one thing, no one is responsible for anything in my life. It is my life and my decisions, and I am solely responsible for everything that happens to me,” says Manju adding that she is asking forgiveness for all the pain she has caused them, owing to her decisions.
Manju says in the letter that she will not fight for the primary custody of her 14-year-old daughter Meenakshi, who is now staying with her estranged husband. “More than anyone, I know how much Meenutty (Meenakshi) loves her father. And I am sure she will be safe and secure with Dileepettan. I don’t want to make her life a mess in the legal tug of war over her custody. I will be a call away for her,” says the doting mom, who wishes all the best for Dileep’s future ventures in both personal and professional life.
In the post that reflects her innate emotions, the actress says her comeback is a kind of re-birth “Now, I am starting from scratch. I am quite aware that a film’s success can never be considered as a yardstick to measure life’s success. In my comeback after a hiatus of 14 years, I have been showered with love, care, concern and criticisms. And I value the feelings of my audience.”
Manju signs off with an inspirational quote, “You never realise how strong you are, until being strong is the only option you have left.”
Meanwhile, within a few hours following her post, the actress’ official page on social networking site was flooded with praises for her grit and determination, but so were a few other posts that showed their displeasure over her decisions.
