ISLAMABAD- Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said there is no room for politics of slogans and sit-ins in the country.
Talking to journalists in Jeddah, the Prime Minister said several thousand people cannot derail democracy established in the country with the help of millions of people. He said Pakistan has witnessed many revolutions during the last sixty-five years but now if there is a revolution, it will come only through democracy.
The Prime Minister said 14th August ceremonies will be held during the night and the national flag will be hoisted in the morning. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said all serious political and religious parties believe in democracy and are acting responsibly. He said political parties had learnt from the past and now they are endeavoring for stabilizing democracy. However, he said the doors for talks are always open in democracies. The Prime Minister said the focus of the Government is on economic stability. To a question, he said thousands of people cannot make mandate of the millions hostage.
