Laura Ingraham, politician?

Maybe. The conservative radio host teased a potential bid for office in a recent interview with London's Sunday Times. "I've been approached by various people to get involved," she told the newspaper. "I'm keeping an open mind about running for office in the future."

The interview, re-published here at Real Clear Politics, addressed Ingraham's opposition to immigration reform and her involvement in this year's Republican primaries. She had campaigned for David Brat, who beat House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, and celebrated Cantor's historic loss.

Ingraham, a Fox News contributor and guest host for Bill O'Reilly, is the latest personality at the network to talk about the possibility of entering politics. Geraldo Rivera considered running for the Senate last year (he ultimately did not), and Fox News cut ties with Scott Brown, a contributor for the network and former senator from Massachusetts, after he announced earlier this year that he is running for New Hampshire's Senate seat.
