Sadtu discusses NEC’s nullification of the provincial conference

MEMBERS of the South African Democratic Teacher’s Union in the Eastern Cape are in a meeting today at the King William’s Town War Memorial Hall.

The union’s provincial leadership is meeting to discuss the national executive committee’s (NEC) decision to nullify the provincial elective conference, which was held earlier this month.

The stand-off between the NEC and PEC was a result of the participation of suspended provincial leader Aaron Mhlontlo in the conference.

Mhlontlo was elected unopposed as the Sadtu provincial chairman at the conference.
