Bid to loot auto agency staff foiled

ALLAHABAD: Two robbers opened fire at two employees of an automobile agency on Monday made a futile bid to loot Rs 8 lakh near SP Marg in Civil Lines.
The injured employees, identified as Kapoor Chandra and Jai Karan, reached the agency and apprised the agency management who informed the police. The two were admitted at SRN Hospital where their condition was stated to be stable.
The SP (city) that the CCTV footage had been acquired. The employees were going on a motorcycle to deposit the money in a bank located at SP Marg. Before they could reach the bank, two robbers hit their motorcycle with that of the employees.
All the four, including robbers, fell on the road. The injured persons escaped towards the agency, which was situated a little distance away.
