Flights between city and 18 Chinese airports to be disrupted
CHINA’S air traffic regulator yesterday issued its highest alert for flight disruptions at Shanghai airports saying delays and cancellations this afternoon will be “specially severe.”
The Civil Aviation Administration of China’s red alert anticipated “busy air traffic flow” between 2pm and 6pm over the city today, its website said, without giving details.
Flights from Nanchang, Ganzhou, Jiujiang, Yichun, Jinggangshan, Jingdezhen, Wuyishan, Jianqiao, Luqiao and Wenzhou will be affected. Disruptions will also be experienced on flights to Linyi, Xuzhou, Lianyungang, Huai’an, Yancheng, Changzhou, Yangzhou and Nantong, the administration said.
