Kriti to play Ramya’s daughter in Sanju Weds Geetha sequel?

If all goes according to schedule, Kriti Kharbanda will play Ramya’s daughter in an upcoming film. Director Nagashekar has approached her to act in the sequel to his film Sanju Weds Geetha, which will see the director-actor play the lead.
“If you remember, in the original, Ramya’s character gives birth to a little girl and passes away subsequently. The sequel is the tale of this girl, and Kriti will play her.Her character is blind, and there is a beautiful love story that unfolds between her and the hero,” says Nagashekar.
He adds, “The hero has a cleft lip, and the story is set against the backdrop of the monsoon. The protagonists share an unusual bond, which forms the essence of the romance.” When contacted, Kriti confirmed that she has been approached for the film and that she is in the process of finalizing the project.
