Hyderabad: Hyderabad police commissioner M. Mahender Reddy has imposed traffic curbs on Tuesday to facilitate proper control and regulation of traffic in connection with Id prayers at the Mir Alam Tank Idgah and the Secunderabad Idgah.
The commissioner said that “one way” traffic regulation would be enforced from 8 am to 11.30 am.
Mir Alam Tank Idgah
All vehicles going towards the Mir Alam Tank idgah will be allowed via Puranapul, Kamathipura, Kishanbagh and Bahadurpura crossroads.
General traffic will not be allowed to proceed towards the idgah from Bahadurpura crossroads, and will be diverted towards Kishanbagh or Kamathipura.
Cycle-rickshaws and cycles will not be allowed to proceed towards the idgah from the idgah crossroads. Cycles and autorickshaws should be parked near the open space where stands are being provided.
All vehicles coming from Shivrampally, NPA, and going to the idgah for prayers will be allowed and general traffic proceeding towards Bahadurpura crossroads will be diverted at Danamma Huts ‘T’ junction towards Aliabad via Ansari Road, Jahanuma, Boys Town School etc.
Immediately after prayers, vehicles from Puranapul, proceeding towards the idgah, will be diverted towards City College road till the entire congregation disperses
Secunderabad Idgah
Vehicles coming from Brooke Bond Centre and CTO crossroads will be diverted at the idgah crossroads towards Tadbun.
