Hyderabad police registered case for staging a protest near Dilkusha guest house

Hyderabad: Justice K.G. Shankar of the Hyderabad High Court on Monday granted interim stay on all further proceedings in a case registered against YSR Congress honorary president Y.S. Vijayalakshmi, YSRC chief YS. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s wife Bharati, sister Sharmila, brother-in-law Anil Kumar and other relatives when they staged a protest near Dilkusha guest house when Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy was taken into custody by the CBI in the alleged illegal assets case.

The Hyderabad police registered the case for staging a protest near the Dilkusha guest house on May 27, 2012.

The petitioners’ counsel contended that there was no breach of any law and any disturbance of peace and order or inconvenience to the general public as alleged in the charge sheet.

He said that his clients were present outside the Dilkusha guest house to extend moral support to Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy.
