Three killed in accident

Three persons were killed when the car in which they were travelling crashed into parapet wall of a bridge on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) under BDL Bhanur police station limits in Medak district late on Sunday night. One person who escaped with injuries is undergoing treatment at a private hospital. The victims, Prashant (25), Praveen (30) and Vinod Kumar (25) along with Swaminath (27) who suffered serious injuries, were going to Medchal on some work from Khanpur in Ranga Reddy district when the accident took place near Tadi village around midnight.

“The car crashed into the parapet wall of the ORR bridge resulting in the death of two persons on the spot. One more person succumbed on the way to hospital. We are investigation the cause of the accident,” BDL Bhanur Inspector P. Ravinder Reddy said.

Woman ends life

A housewife, Sana Khanum (21) of Yakutpura hanged herself to death at her house on Monday owing to dowry harassment, the police said.
