Castleford Tigers' Weller Hauraki is facing a possible two to three-game ban if found guilty after being charged by the RFL for striking with his knees.

The former Leeds Rhino and Crusader was put on report in the 77th minute by referee James Child in Thursday's 18-18 draw with Hull FC at the KC Stadium.

Hauraki will appear before an independent disciplinary tribunal on Tuesday evening after being charged with the Grade C offence following an incident involving Jordan Abdull.

The 29-year-old back rower, who is joining Salford Red Devils in the 2015 campaign, does not have the option of submitting an Early Guilty Plea (EGP).
