Anita to direct a kids play

Anita Date, who was seen in the Rani Mukerji starrer 'Aiyya' and 'Popat' alongside Atul Kulkarni, has been visiting her native place Nashik for the last eight months to find ways of improving the theatre scenario there.
She has conducted workshops for children to create interest among them regarding this field. While speaking about her initiative, Anita said, “The passion with which the older generation was involved in theatre has declined these days.My friend Jayesh Apte and I started this workshop to make kids aware about theatre and will follow it with a play by them. Moreover, children can stay with us for longer time after they are groomed.”
Anita is seen in the serial 'Eka Lagnachi Tisari Goshta' in the role of Spruha Joshi's friend.
